European Sustainable Development Week 2018

The European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) 2018 takes place each year between 30 May and 5 June, with more than 4,000 activities planned in 30 states throughout Europe.

Each year, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) serve as common thread and themes for activities involving cantons, cities, schools and organizations from the private sector to raise awareness on critical topics. Examples include a vegetarian week at an office's canteen, a movie night dedicated to sustainable development, building tours....

This year, main focus has been given to:

GOAL 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

GOAL 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

GOAL 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

GOAL 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

GOAL 15: Life on Land

31 initiatives have been registered for Switzerland on the event's official website, click here to learn more and see what is going on next to you.
